Organizing marathons sound great in theory but rarely work out in the long run. Take baby steps & implement strategies that are going to work down the road vs. trying to tackle something all in one day or weekend.
If you use a desk blotter-style calendar consider purchasing one with a calendar at the bottom of the page. It makes it easier to reference dates when your desk is cluttered with paperwork during the day.
